Formula Regional European Championship – Friday

Hosted by FIA President Jean Todt and FIA Deputy President for Sport, Graham Stoker, the World Motor Sport Council gathered today in Cologne for its third meeting of 2019 at the Permanent Exhibition of the Michael Schumacher Private Collection at Motorworld.

Further entries have been received for the inaugural Touring Car Cup, part of the FIA Motorsport Games, which will be held at Vallelunga Circuit near Rome from 1-3 November this year.

Danish Racer Frederik Vesti was on the pace in Formula Regional European Championship’s free practice sessions held at Mugello.

2019 Wales Rally GB - Friday morning

The four drivers nominated as official ‘Rookies’ for the official FIA WEC test session at Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday 15 December have today been announced.

The no8 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050-Hybrid topped the second and final Free Practice session of the opening day at Fuji Speedway in Japan. Kazuki Nakajima posted the best time of the day, a 1m25.623, 1.419s ahead of the no1 Rebellion Racing R13-Gibson of Norman Nato, with the no5 Team LNT Ginetta a further half second behind with Egor Orudzhev’s 1m27.602 lap.

The no 8 Toyota TS050-hybrid set the pace in the first Free Practice session of the 6 Hours of Fuji weekend, Round 2 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship.
