Codasur Rally Championship
Codasur Rally Championship
Taking its name from the regional governing body, Confederacion Deportiva Automovilismo Sudamericana, the FIA CODASUR Rally Championship is a truly cross-continental competition.
In a region where rallying is hugely popular among fans and participants, the CODASUR championship has firmly regained the momentum it lost during the global health pandemic, with 2023 proving to be a standout year for the series.
As in 2023, events will once again take place in Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Uruguay during the 2024 season.
In addition to Rally2, Rally3, Rally4, Rally5 and new-for-2024 Rally5-Kit machinery, Maxi Rally cars, a concept developed in Argentina, and Group NR4 cars are eligible for CODASUR events.

What’s new for 2024?
- After closing the 2023 CODASUR season in October, Uruguay’s Rally del Atlántico reverts to a November date in 2024.
- Rally5-Kit cars, which can be homologated at local level in collaboration with the FIA Technical Department, are permitted for CODASUR action. The exciting move will allow the use of parts and expertise available locally to deliver more cost-effective competition cars.
