WEC - 6 Hours of Spa- Post Qualifying Press Conference

The seventh and penultimate qualifying session of the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season saw Toyota and Ford come out on top to head their respective LMP and LMGTE grid in tomorrow’s Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Battle between the two Prema Powerteam drivers leading general classification

Toyota Gazoo Racing claimed the top two positions in the third and final Free Practice session ahead of tomorrow’s TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, Round 7 of the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The pre event press conference was held ahead of the 2019 Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps with six of the leading drivers from across the four classes gathering to face the media.

In the second free practice session of the day at Spa-Francorchamps heavy rain provided the competitors with some tricky track conditions to contend with. Four red flags punctuated the session including one that brought the practice to a close a couple of minutes early.

The FIA World Rally Championship contenders will face a brand new challenge with Rally Chile, round six of the 2019 season on May 9-12.

The successful collaboration between the FIA’s Girls on Track project and the Dare to be Different programme continues with a second event planned at the 10th round of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, the Berlin E-Prix (23-25 May).
