Although the Italian circuit has been mastered perfectly by the teams, it has enough technical difficulty that the role of the Driver is still predominant. Therefore expect to see a high quality sporting event in for which serious predictions are impossible to make. After testing, the Drivers are already on site for the upcoming big go-kart show, from 24th to 27th September, 2015.

Well-known to the major Italian and international teams, the La Conca International Circuit has been used to host major Competitions like the World Championships in 2002, 2004 and 2008. The track at Muro Leccese also hosts many international races every season. It is mostly familiar ground for the 167 Drivers in the quest of the two world titles remaining in 2015. This will be the last meeting at this level for both of the categories in contention, KF and KF-Junior, which will be replaced in 2016 by the new OK and OK-Junior.

Four continents and 36 nationalities will be represented in a well-populated entry gathering the most prominent Drivers of the season. The KF category will feature three former World Champions among its 66 entries; Tom Joyner (Zanardi-TM Racing-Vega), who won in 2013, Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi-TM Racing-Vega) who was titled in 2009 and the quadruple Champion Davide Fore (CRG-Parilla-Vega), the latter two having specialized in KZ in recent years. Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions-TM Racing-Vega) is in good form after winning the CIK-FIA European KF Championship earlier in the season, he will face stiff competition at La Conca. Experienced Drivers in search of a world victory abound such as Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), Karol Basz (Kosmic Kart-Vortex-Vega), Felice Tiene (CRG-Parilla-Vega), Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG-TM Racing-Vega) and Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART-Parilla-Vega), while Nikolaj Bollingtoft (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) will make his return after several years away from the circuit. The younger generation is well equipped to take precedence over the former with promising young talents such as Richard Verschoor (Exprit-Vortex-Vega), Juan Correa (Energy Corse-TM Racing-Vega), Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart- Vortex-Vega), Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) and Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Parilla-Vega), the recent protagonist of the CIK-FIA KZ2 International Super Cup at Le Mans.

With over 100 contenders, the World KF-Junior Championship, open to drivers between 13 and 15 years, is not likely to lack intensity. Although a surprise is always possible in karting, the title is likely to be played between the established favourites this season. Behind Christian Lundgaard (Energy Corse-TM Racing-LeCont), who has changed equipment and team since winning the European Championship, the spirit of revenge will motivate candidates like Presley Martono (Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont), Kenny Roosens (Kosmic Kart-Parilla-LeCont), Marta Garcia Lopez (FA Kart-TM Racing-LeCont), the recent CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy winner, and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont). We can also expect strong performances from Ulysse De Pauw (BirelART-Parilla-LeCont), Logan Sargeant (FA Kart-Vortex-LeCont), Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo Kart-Parilla-LeCont), Felipe Drugovich ( Kosmic Kart-Vortex-LeCont), Caio Collet (Kosmic Kart-Vortex-LeCont), among other Drivers who could shine.
