Touring y Automóvil Club Paraguayo Partners with SENATUR to Promote Tourism

The Touring y Automóvil Club Paraguayo (TACPy) has partnered with Paraguay’s National Secretariat of Tourism (SENATUR) to enhance domestic tourism through three new travel experiences: Camino de la EsperanzaAreguá con Encanto, and Asunción, Guarania e Historia.

This collaboration aims to showcase Paraguay’s rich cultural, natural, and culinary heritage while promoting sustainable tourism. By diversifying the country’s tourism offerings, the initiative seeks to encourage local travel and economic development.

Each itinerary offers a unique experience:

  • Camino de la Esperanza blends art and spirituality, featuring a visit to the iconic Heraldos del Evangelio house and the Madre del Buen Consejo Church in Ypacaraí. Visitors can also explore local artisan markets, discovering a variety of traditional crafts.
  • Asunción, Guarania e Historia highlights the history of Guarania, a UNESCO-recognised musical genre, concluding at the Museo de la Caña, where visitors can sample Paraguay’s traditional mosto and purchase themed souvenirs.
  • Areguá con Encanto offers an immersive journey through Areguá, a city renowned for its natural beauty and dynamic cultural scene. Visitors can explore its most emblematic landmarks and experience its creative spirit.

This initiative underscores the commitment of both organisations to strengthening Paraguay’s tourism industry and providing enriching experiences for travellers.
