NACT takes center stage at Arab Festival for radio and television, celebrating 110 years of automotive excellence

The National Automobile Club of Tunisia (NACT) participated in the 23rd session of the Arab Festival for Radio and Television, held at the City of Culture in Tunis from June 12th to June 15th, 2023.

As a key highlight, the club showcased a remarkable historical car exhibition in front of the City of Culture in the capital city. NACT's vintage cars served as elegant transportation for guests of the Arab Broadcasting Association and distinguished visitors of Tunisia, adding a touch of glamour to this prominent event, recognised as a hallmark of the region.

The club's special pavilion, part of the Arab States Broadcasting Union's technological exhibition, welcomed influential guests including His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, His Excellency Ambassador Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General, Dr. Hayat Qattat Al-Qarmazi, Minister of Cultural Affairs, and the Director General of the Arab States Broadcasting Union.

During the event, NACT President Karim Azouz provided an overview of the FIA and its activities. Additionally, the club highlighted its own history as it celebrates its 110th anniversary this year.

ABOUT THE ARAB FESTIVAL FOR RADIO AND TELEVISION

The Arab Festival for Radio and Television, organised by the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) in partnership with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and Tunisian Radio and TV, aims to promote Arab audiovisual content production and support its growth. The festival includes various categories of television and radio programs, with winners receiving prizes at the closing ceremony. The opening and closing ceremonies, attended by officials, media personalities, and professionals from the communication and culture sectors, arebroadcasted live to ASBU member organisations.
