EHSRC - 2020 European Historic Sporting Rally Championship Calendar
The 2020 championship will feature nine events in seven European countries. Some are well established events on the EHSRC calendar, with two, the 35th Sanremo Rally Storico in Italy and the Rallye International du Valais in Switzerland, making a welcome addition to the schedule.
The season gets underway in just over one week’s time with the Rally Costa Brava on the 13-14 March.
Round 1: 68th Rally Costa Brava (Spain)

The Rally Costa Brava, the oldest rally in Spain, is renowned for its history and brings together more than 150 teams from all over the world each year. With magnificent machines from every era of European rallying, the Rally Moritz Costa Brava is considered one of the best continental historic rallies.
Round 2: 35th Sanremo Rally Storico (Italy)

The FIA EHSRC returns to Liguria for the Sanremo Rally Storico, round 2 of the 2020 championship. The route, entirely concentrated in the province of Imperia, close to the border with France, and will revisit a number of classic special stages of the past which haven’t been used for several years.
Round 3: 29th Historic Vltava Rallye (Czech Republic)

Janovice nad Úhlavou is a small town in the Klatovy district of the Czech Republic and the Vltava Rally has proven in the last decade to be one of the favourite rounds among the EHSRC competitors. The total distance of the Historic Vltava Rallye includes over 150km of special stages.
Round 4: 12th Rally Asturias Histórico (Spain)

Held in Northern Spain in and around the city of Pravia, the 2020 event will be the 12th running of the Rally Asturias Histórico.
Round 5: Mecsek Rallye (Hungary)

Pécs is the fifth largest city of Hungary, located on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains in the south-west of the country, close to its border with Croatia. The Mecsek Rallye used to close the EHSRC season but has now moved to June.
Round 6: Rallye Weiz (Austria)

After a successful debut appearance on the FIA EHSRC calendar in 2019, the Rallye Weiz returns as round 6 of the 2020 season. Situated in Styrian Alps, the Rallye Weiz provides a technical challenge for all of the competitors, as well as some of the most beautiful scenery in Europa.
Round 7: Lahti Historic Rally (Finland)

The Lahti Historic Rally is the northernmost competition in the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship calendar and is also the only gravel rally on the schedule. It offers a flavour of the challenging and well known 1000 Lakes Rally roads.
Round 8: XXXII Rally Elba Storico (Italy)

The penultimate round of the 2020 championship will take place on the Italian island of Elba with competitors taking in the scenery during the 400km, a third of which are special stages, they will undertake to reach the finish line.
Round 9: Rallye International du Valais (Switzerland)

The Rallye International du Valais is run on special stages in the canton of Valais and is the only new addition to the 2020 schedule. An exciting course awaits drivers and spectators alike in a unique landscape for the EHSRC season finale. As it will be the last round of the 2020 Championship, it will offer a “neutral” battleground, should the titles still need to be decided.
