African Rally Championship

African Rally Championship
The African Rally Championship is divided in two regions:
- North region: Ivory Coast, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda
- South region: Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Madagascar
Rallies shall not exceed a total length of 1200 km. Of the 2 formats set out below, only one may be used.
- Special stage Rallies are timed speed tests on roads closed for the rally. The total distance of special stages is set at a distance between 200 km and 300 km.
- Competitive section Rallies are termed ‘Safari’ type Rallies, run on roads not closed for the Rally. The total competitive section distance is set at a distance between 200 km and 300 km.
The following titles will be awarded :
- FIA African Rally Championship for Drivers and Co-Drivers
- FIA ARC Manufacturers Cup
- FIA ARC Cup for Drivers and Co-Drivers using 2WD, normally aspirated cars of maximum 1600cc.
Drivers and co-drivers wishing to take part in the Championship must register before 30 April 2016.
