The fifth of seven weekends in the 2016 Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth season will be disputed at the Vallelunga Autodromo. Despite the fact we have passed the halfway mark of the season, the championship is still to be decided and for this reason the three races will be as unpredictable as they were at the start of the season.

As always, points from all three races will be awarded for all classes of the championship; outright, the Rookie Trophy, the Women's Trophy and the Team's Trophy. The outright leader of the championship is Marcos Siebert, followed by Mick Schumacher, Raul Guzman, Maurizio Baiz and Job Van Uitert.

Simone Cunati leads the Rookie Trophy ahead of Kush Maini, Juri Vips, Lorenzo Colombo and Juan Manuel Correa. In the teams championship Jenzer Motorsport is ahead, followed by Prema Power Team, Kftzeile24 Mucke Motorsport, DR Formula and Antonelli Motorsport. The Women's Trophy is led by Fabienne Wohlwend. The complete classification can be found on the official website and you can find all the information about Vallelunga weekend (but also about the season) here.

Race 1 and Race 2 will be over a duration of 28 minutes + 1 lap; Race 3 is over 18 minutes + 1 lap.

So the weekend schedule sees two free practice sessions on Friday September 9, qualifying divided into two sessions taking place on Saturday morning at 9:20 and 9:45 (over 15 minutes each). Race 1 is on Saturday at 15:25, with Race 2 and 3 at 9:00 and 14:40 respectively on Sunday.

The races will be broadcast live on Sportitalia (Channel 60 digital and 225 on Sky) on TV nationally. MotorsTV will also broadcast in over 40 countries around the world with a 24 minute programme with all the highlights from over the weekend.
