In response to the global pandemic, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) took action by deploying a number of initiatives in support of the Canadian health system and vulnerable members and users.

The FIA has concluded the 2019 edition of its ASN Reward Programme, which recognises improvements in motor sport event safety among member club applicants and provides them with additional financial support.

The FIA has expedited the opening of its 2020 Sport Grant Programme, and broadened the scope of the qualifying criteria, as part of a package of measures designed to help its member clubs manage the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on motor sport activities.
