FIA World Baja Cup
FIA World Baja Cup
Formerly known as the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, the 2024 FIA World Baja Cup consists of eight rounds. It has been harmonised with the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) to avoid date clashes and to provide competitors with a diverse calendar of challenging events on different surfaces.
The 2024 calendar includes four events in Europe and four in the Middle East, with the Saudi Baja opening proceedings through the An-Nafud desert, near the city of Hail, in early February.
The series then heads to Europe for four Bajas in Greece, Spain, Poland and Portugal in May, July, August and October, before returning to the Middle East for three events in Qatar, Jordan and the Emirates from late October to late November.
Baja Greece has graduated from the FIA European Baja Cup to be a round for the first time and Qatar moves from March to a date at the end of October.
FIA World Baja Cup events last no more than four days and offer two days of competition and a minimum of 350 competitive kilometres.
Titles will be awarded to Drivers, Co-drivers, Teams, Challenger Drivers, SSV Drivers and SSV Teams.
