FIA Mobility Regions’ empowerment took centre stage on Wednesday, with FIA Region I ACTAC Sub Region, and FIA Regions II, III and IV holding meetings to discuss their experiences of 2023, and their plans for growth in 2024.

The FIA World Motor Sport Council convened for its final meeting of 2023. The meeting was chaired by FIA Deputy President for Sport Robert Reid and WMSC members joining in person in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, and via video conference from around the world.

The following FIA sporting calendars for 2024 have been approved by the World Motor Sport Council when it convened in Baku earlier today, Wednesday 6 December.

After an extensive selection process, the winners of the 2023 FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars edition have been determined. Alba Hurup Larsen (Denmark) has won the Senior edition. FDA will monitor her progress next season on visits to Maranello. After an excellent demonstration both on and off the track, Vanesa Silkunaite (Lithuania) has won in the Junior category.

Rally Safety Delegates representing 11 FIA Member Clubs gathered in Valleiry, France, earlier this week for a two-day Rally Operational Safety Training seminar.
