Launched in 2022, the FIA Immersion Programme is back for its third edition this autumn, with the mission of providing Club Members with a deeper understanding of motorsport, encouraging the application of acquired knowledge within their own communities, and strengthening bonds between FIA Staff and Clubs.

As the world moved online amid the COVID-19 lockdowns, Motorsport South Africa (MSA) used the opportunity to take all of its officials training programmes online, utilising the Zoom platform.

Since driving schools had to suspend their activities due to the pandemic, the Automobile Club of Ecuador (ANETA) adapted its teaching methodologies. The theoretical classes of the driving courses for cars and motorcycles and the system for recovering lost driving license points are now conducted online through an e-learning platform.

Following the instructions of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT) of Chile, the Automobile Club of Chile (ACCHI) has improved its driver training’s offer with online theoretical training for professionals and non-professionals.

The Chinese Taipei Automobile Federation (CTAF) is collaborating with Lihpao International Racing Park to build a new Road Safety Education Center in Taichung City. The project will be developed further in 2020.

The first stage of a major new training initiative launched by the FIA, a programme of Regional Train the Trainer Seminars, has recently commenced, starting in the Middle East.

The Automobile Club of Andorra (ACA) has recently held the second edition of the National Stewards and Officials Training Programme. Upon completion of the programme, three women – Danika Dimova, Laura Baffino and Àngela Núñez – received the National Stewards License, a stepping - stone on the pathway to become FIA International Stewards.
