Jochen Hahn and Rene Reinert shared the wins on Sunday at Autodrom Most to make it a fine day for the German contingent in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship.
 
With drier conditions compared to a damp Saturday, Hahn claimed a straightforward race three win in his Hahn Racing IVECO, before Reinert took a close-run final race in his Reinert Racing run MAN.
 
Hahn’s points haul today ensured that he was able to keep a healthy advantage of 48-points over his title rival Adam Lacko with three events and 12 races remaining. 

A massive crowd of 90,800 witnessed a superb weekend’s FIA ETRC action revelling in local ace Lacko’s heroics in the Saturday events.
 
Race 3 
 
Jochen Hahn re-exerted his authority on the 2018 FIA European Truck Racing Championship with a dominant display to control the third race of the weekend at Most.
 
The Hahn Racing IVECO driver grabbed the lead from pole sitter Adam Lacko at the start and was never headed as he waltzed to his seventh win of the season, even finishing with his customary ‘powerslide’ as he exited the final corner.
 
In the first dry running of the weekend Hahn showed his prowess to ensure that he extended his title lead over rival Adam Lacko, who followed Hahn home, back to 49-points.
 
Lacko who started from his second consecutive pole position suffered a sluggish start and was also threatened by a flying Sascha Lenz who was aiming to reprise his second place from yesterday’s first race.
 
Lenz’s SL Trucksport took third after initially challenging Lacko who lost a piece of bodywork in the process of fighting off the German.

Race 4
 
Rene Reinert  won the final race of the weekend at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic this afternoon in his Reinert Racing MAN.

Savouring his second victory in the 2018 FIA European Truck Racing Championship, Reinert just led home Norbert Kiss’ Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz by 0.2s in another tense and exciting finale.
 
The German went someway to compensating himself for losing yesterday’s second race at the final corner to Adam Lacko.
 
The first lap saw high drama as first Antonio Albacete ran through the gravel at the first corner and then pole-sitter Shane Brereton also took an excursion and dropped down to seventh position after contact with Kiss’ Mercedes Benz in chain-reaction incident.
 
This came just after Jose Rodrigues (Reboconort MAN) had snatched the lead going down to the first corner as the Portuguese driver earned a narrow lead over Reinert.

Reinert though immediately pressured Rodrigues for the lead but was in turn also caught by a flying Norbert Kiss, as the Portuguese driver created a bottleneck.
 
The German though was soon able to make a clean pass for the lead and Kiss followed suit and started to hunt down the new leader.
