Formula E – 11 teams set to compete in fifth season
Registrations validated for the 2018/19 FIA Formula E Championship
Registrations for teams intending to compete in the 2018/19 FIA Formula E Championship were today, 28 August, validated by the FIA.
For the first time in Formula E’s history the number of teams competing will increase to 11, meaning that a record 22 cars will feature on the grid in season five which begins on 15 December 2018 in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

Official pre-season testing will take place at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia, from 16-19 October where all of the FIA Formula E Gen2 cars will be in action together. The circuit will be open for fans who have registered to attend – for more information, click here.
