WRC - Hyundai in WRC in 2013
28.09.12
World Rally Championship - Hyundai will be returning to competition in the FIA WRC.
Press Release
The FIA is delighted to receive news that Hyundai will be returning to competition in the FIA World Rally Championship, following the Korean manufacturer’s announcement at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris.
FIA President Jean Todt said: “We are delighted to welcome Hyundai back into our rallying family. This is a great boost to our Championship and underlines the faith global manufacturers have in our sport, despite the difficult economic times we all face.”
Citroën Racing also confirmed its continued commitment to the series. Thanks to a partnership agreed with Abu Dhabi, the seven-time World Championship winning team will enter three Citroën DS3 WRCs in 2013.
