After the qualifying session ahead of the 8 hours of Bahrain , the pole position drivers spoke about their qualifying runs in the briefing room.

The no7 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050-Hybrid will start the 8 Hours of Bahrain, Round 8 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship on pole position. In the 20-minute session Jose Maria Lopez and Mike Conway set an average lap of 1m40.114, 0.751s ahead of the championship leaders Brendon Hartley and Kazuki Nakajima in the no8 Toyota.

The third and final Free Practice session for the 8 Hours of Bahrain saw the no8 Toyota TS050-Hybrid finish at the head of the rest of the field, while Porsche were the quickest of the LMGTE runners, meaning all three manufacturers had headed a practice session in Bahrain.

As the temperature gauge climbed towards 30 degrees centigrade, the no7 Toyota TS050-Hybrid was the fastest car on track in the second Free Practice session of the 8 Hours of Bahrain, Round 8 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The 8 Hours of Bahrain is the final round of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship and will be the deciding round to which crews will be crowned FIA World Endurance Driver Champions in LMP1 and LMGTE. Seven of the drivers spoke before the start of track action in Bahrain.
