The Punta del Este ePrix, third round of the FIA Formula E Championship, was also an opportunity for a group of youngsters to get a close up view of the very latest FIA race series: they are the winners of the first ever Concurso de la Seguridad Vial (road safety competition) organised by the Liga de Fomento di Maldonado, with the backing of the ACU (Automobile Club de Uruguay.) The competition was open to first year students from the seven major public and private senior schools in the region.
