As snow and cold temperatures gripped the east of Belgium, Jean-Jacques Martens and Aswin Pyck in the no3 Volvo PV444 ended the second day of the Ostbelgien Classic as the leading contender for the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies after a full day of competition. The Belgian crew finished the day on 264.10 penalty points, 17.87 points ahead of the no7 BMW 2002 Ti of Patrick Lambert and Yves Noelanders.
