Formula E ushers next generation of motorsport coverage
LONDON, UK (October 19 2015) – Formula E’s position as the leading digital motorsport channel will be further enhanced by a new collaboration with Facebook to enjoy unprecedented levels of exclusive content and opportunities to engage with drivers, teams and events taking place throughout the course of each race.
The season-opener will be the first-ever motor race to be streamed live via the social media giant and represents the latest addition to Formula E’s burgeoning digital portfolio. The collaboration represents an exciting step in bringing fans closer to race day events and giving them tools to engage as they unfold.
The programme includes:
• Exclusive near-realtime highlights of key race action and moments during the race and throughout the season
• Video capturing key overtakes and other exciting race moments to be provided by Formula E and shared by drivers and teams
• All track action from the opening round of season two will be streamed live to fans in Spain
• For the first time ever, drivers will provide exclusive live streams from the Facebook Mentions app (https://www.facebook.com/about/mentions) to capture intimate behind the scenes moments
