ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

The FIA Innovation Challenge celebrates and showcases Club projects that drive growth and development, benefiting participants by elevating their visibility and impact, while fostering knowledge and experience sharing across the entire network.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Clubs can submit up to 4 projects through their Regional Office, using the specific online application form. For access to the form and detailed instructions, please contact your Regional Coordinator.

REGION I: Submissions open until 21 February 2025.

REGIONS II, III, AND IV: Submissions open until 4 April 2025.

SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The FIA Innovation Challenge recognises innovative initiatives that drive Club development and create real value for a range of audiences, including members, non-members, corporate clients, and partners.

Projects should focus on generating growth, opening new opportunities, or diversifying business activities. A special emphasis is placed on cost-efficient and replicable projects that contribute to member retention and acquisition. Advocacy initiatives and policy campaigns are not eligible for submission.

The Challenge is open to all FIA Member Clubs with Mobility competencies that are affiliated with FIA Region I, II, III, or IV. Submitted projects must have been recently launched, active, or completed within the past 24 months. Each Club may submit up to four projects (National Federations have the opportunity to submit projects from their local Clubs).

SELECTION AND RECOGNITION PROCESS

STEP 1: REGIONAL SELECTION COMMITTEES

Each Region will have its own Selection Committee, managed and composed by the respective FIA Regional Offices. The objective is to choose 3 Regional Champions per Region from the submitted projects. These Champions will be awarded during the regional congresses.

STEP 2: GLOBAL JUDGING PANEL

A unique global judging panel, managed and composed by the FIA Head Office, will then evaluate the Regional Champions. The panel's objective is to select the 4 Global Winners (one from each Region), who will be honoured during the FIA General Assemblies week in December.

2024 EDITION HIGHLIGHTS

The inaugural 2024 FIA Innovation Challenge was a success, with 44 inspiring submissions from all 4 Regions. Out of these, 12 Finalist projects were selected, and the 4 Global Winners were honoured during the FIA General Assemblies Week in December 2024 for their outstanding contributions.
