FIA Formula 2 announce the calendar for the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship. Next season will comprise a total of 14 rounds, all support events of the FIA Formula One World Championship. The eleven teams and the 22 drivers will contest a total of 28 races across 13 countries, with a new venue added to the calendar as Formula 2 will go to Qatar for the very first time.

FIA Formula 3 has announced today the calendar for the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship. Next season will consist of a total of 10 rounds, all support events of the FIA Formula One World Championship and the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The ten teams and 30 drivers will contest a total of 20 races across three continents.

The World Motor Sport Council convened for the first time in 2023 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was hosted by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem along with FIA Deputy President for Sport, Robert Reid. WMSC members joined in person and via video conference.

A number of changes to the 2023 FIA sporting calendars, highlighted in red below, have been approved by the World Motor Sport Council when it convened in Bahrain today, Friday 3 March, or earlier this year by e-vote.

On the occasion of the FIA Annual General Assembly Week in Geneva, the World Motor Sport Council convened today for the fourth and final meeting of 2020. The meeting was hosted in Geneva by FIA President Jean Todt with FIA Deputy President for Sport Graham Stoker and WMSC members joining in a large majority via video conference from locations across the globe.

Presented by FIA President Jean Todt and supported by the Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF), Kenya’s Sports, Culture and Heritage Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has been elected into the World Motor Sport Council Board.

Under the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, and at the close of the first FIA eConference, members of the World Motor Sport Council convened remotely from locations across the globe for the second meeting of 2020, chaired by FIA President Jean Todt and FIA Deputy President for Sport Graham Stoker.

The World Motor Sport Council yesterday approved the appointment of Compact Dynamics as the exclusive supplier of hybrid equipment in the 2022-2024 World Rally Championship for the new Rally1 class vehicles, as well as provisions for the category’s engine technical regulations to retain the same base engine as current but with measures to reduce running costs and development.
