The FIA Safe and Sustainable Mobility Grants are supported by the FIA Foundation.

With the support of the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme funded by the FIA Foundation, FIA Member Club Automovel e Touring Clube of Mocambique (ATCM) launched the Return to Safer Schools programme in collaboration with a local road safety NGO, Amend, and conducted activities to improve the road safety situation for the students at five local schools.

For the third year in a row, the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme, supported by the FIA Foundation, will help several FIA Clubs roll out ‘Drive in the Moment’, the Australian Automobile Association’s campaign against smartphone distraction.

This year, the FIA Mobility Grants supported by the FIA Foundation will fund 29 Club projects to promote safe, clean, smart and inclusive mobility.

With the support of the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme funded by the FIA Foundation, FIA Member the Nepal Automobiles’ Association (NASA Nepal) has recently completed a pioneering campaign called ‘Safe School Zone’ – a first-ever Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) campaign in Nepal – that allowed to improve safety in several school zones in the country.

At last week’s World Council for Automobile Mobility and Tourism, FIA President Jean Todt announced the Australian Automobile Association as the recipient of the 2020 FIA Road Safety Award for “the Most Effective Road Safety Intervention by an FIA Club” for its ‘Drive in the Moment’ initiative.

Del 6 al 12 de mayo, los miembros de la comunidad de la FIA unieron sus fuerzas para apoyar a #SpeakUp, la quinta Semana Mundial de la Seguridad Vial de las Naciones Unidas, y solicitaron más "Liderazgo para la seguridad vial".

La 5ª reunión de la red Calles más Seguras tuvo lugar los días 10 y 11 de abril y fue acogida por la ciudad de Buenos Aires, que copreside la red junto con la ciudad de Lisboa.

El Programa de Becas de Seguridad Vial de la FIA ha comprometido 200.000 euros en apoyo de la 5a Semana Mundial de la Seguridad Vial de la ONU, que tendrá lugar del 6 al 12 de mayo de 2019.
