Improved track and ambient conditions ensured the lap times tumbled in the second Free Practice at Nürburgring this afternoon.

A damp but drying Nurburgring track awaited the entrants for the fourth round of the 2015 WEC as they took part in the first of two 90-minute Free Practice sessions, the first after the long summer break.

Following the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most recent round of the WEC, the technical departments of the FIA and ACO have made several adjustments to the regulations with fair competition between marques as always being the overriding aim
