The FIA held its most recent Sport Regional Congress this past weekend for the FIA’s National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) from North European Zone and nearby countries.

Here are some highlights of the FIA Sport Conference 2015.

The final interactive session heard how making motor sport more environmentally responsible will aid in the sustainability of the sport.

The first interactive session briefed ASNs on the benefits of making joint applications for grant aid.

FIA President Jean Todt brought FIA Sport Conference 2015 in Mexico City to a close by telling delegates that the strength of the FIA lies in the talent within its member clubs.

Despite the significant reduction in deaths on Ireland’s roads, the portion of young males in the category 17 to 24 years of age (40%) has not changed. The purpose of this project is to target this group with a message that is delivered by their peers and is relevant i.e. if you’re a “motorhead”...

The FIA will begin sourcing data and information from hundreds of racing accidents around the world, using the information gathered to guide the future of motor sport safety.

The CAMS Foundation will be holding a Drive Day at Sydney Motorsport Park on Thursday 4 June to raise funds to support Australia's up and coming young drivers.
