The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) programme will now expand into FIA Region IV countries Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay. This means that the tool will reach 36 countries worldwide, providing key information to help users make more sustainable decisions about vehicles. The FIA Region IV, the FIA Foundation, GreenNCAP, IT provider TheRightMove and Joanneum Research supported the programme’s expansion.

The FIA’s United Against Online Abuse campaign, supported by the FIA Foundation, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Coalition for Peace’ award at the 2024 Peace and Sport Forum. At the 3rd World Sport Tourism Congress organised by UN Tourism (UNWTO) in Madrid, Spain, the FIA and its Member, the Automobile Club d’Italia, underlined the unique ability of motorsport to champion sustainable tourism and economic growth.

First launched in 2021, the website acts as a comprehensive global resource for drivers and travellers with disabilities. The relaunched version will also include updated information from ITF member countries, guide on vehicle adaptations, and advice on getting into motorsport.

First launched in 2022, the FIA President’s Awards celebrate extraordinary Club projects within the fields of Climate Action, Road Safety and EDI. This year’s Awards received nearly 40 applications from leading Member Clubs around the world.
