The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has appointed Maxxis, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers, as the exclusive tyre supplier for the FIA Karting European and World Championships in OK and OKJ categories, as well as for the OK-N World Cup and Academy Trophy in 2024-2026.

The W2RC’s curtain-raiser will feature a record-breaking 20 entrants in the ‘Ultimate’ group (formerly T1), 12 ‘Challengers’ (formerly T3), and 11 ‘SSVs’ (formerly T4) with registered crews coming from 19 countries. Toyota Gazoo Racing, Nasser Racing by Prodrive, Team Audi Sport and the X-Raid Mini JCW Team will all be fighting for laurels in the Manufacturers’ Championship in the top category.

The Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF), under the guidance of President and FIA Vice President for Sport - MENA, His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, recently organised an extensive 12-day training course for members of the Iraq Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (IAMF). Held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir from December 5 to 16, 2023, this initiative is part of the cooperation and strong relations between the BMF and the IAMF.

Since its launch in July 2013, EduKarting has been a driving force in Nassau, Bahamas, fostering grassroots motor sport development. Founded by Bahamas Motorsports Association (BMSA) President David McLaughlin and managed by BMSA Vice President Susan Schauff, with support from the FIA Motorsport Funding Programme, the transformative five-day program has impacted over 1,000 students aged 10-16.
