José María López has claimed FIA World Touring Car Championship career pole position number 15 by breaking Sébastien Loeb’s Circuit Paul Ricard lap record this afternoon. In doing so, the reigning WTCC champion will line up for Sunday’s Main Race at the head of the field.

In a thrilling second race of the season at the 3.841 kilometres long Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) celebrated his maiden victory in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
