FIA Mobility Regions’ empowerment took centre stage on Wednesday, with FIA Region I ACTAC Sub Region, and FIA Regions II, III and IV holding meetings to discuss their experiences of 2023, and their plans for growth in 2024.

The World Council for Automobile Mobility and Tourism met at the FIA General Assemblies today for an informative and constructive session looking at past year’s progress.

The FIA Smart Driving Challenge 2023 Season’s final was held in Dubai, UAE, with the support of FIA Member Club the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO). Alexandre Stricher claimed the victory, after a safe and eco-friendly drive through the centre of the city.

This autumn, Avto-Moto Zveza Slovenije (AMZS) hosted the FIA Region I’s and ARC Europe’s 2023 Road Patrol Training for Excellence, while the Automobile Association of Kenya (AA Kenya) hosted the FIA Region I African Council of Touring and Automobile Clubs (ACTA) Road Patrol Training for Excellence.

FIA Member Clubs demonstrated their commitment to a safer future on the roads with 13 entries to the 2023 FIA President's Road Safety Award.

On November 19th, in a strategic move coinciding with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) has launched #Blindside—a proactive and engaging road safety public awareness campaign.

The 6th Panhellenic Student Contest of Digital Creation for Road Safety recently concluded with an Awards Ceremony at the Book Castle of the National Library of Greece, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. Hosted by the Road Safety Institute (RSI) "Panos Mylonas" and the Department of Educational Radiotelevision & Digital Media, Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, with support from the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies, the event celebrated the creativity and dedication of students nationwide.

To promote e-scooter safety and awareness in Australia, the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ), member of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA), has joined forces with the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), leveraging JAF's expertise to inspire impactful safety content.
