On 17 September, FIA President Jean Todt, who also serves as United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety, took part in the opening ceremony of the 25th ITS World Congress in Copenhagen, bringing together leading global industry players specialised in Intelligent Transport System (ITS) Solutions.

All FIA teams and staff join their President in this tribute.

FIA President welcomed over 160 delegates from 77 different countries to the 2018 FIA Mobility Conference, a three-day programme of keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops on the theme of "Mobility in Transformation". Read his full speech below.

Jean TODT, president of the FIA, signed today in Brussels with the European Commission, represented by Commissioner Tibor NAVRACSICS, a pledge to implement Good Governance in sport.

On 27 April, FIA President Jean Todt gave an introductory speech at the first Parisian Mobility Council, hosted by Mayor Hidalgo on the occasion of the Paris E-Prix and gathering all the major mobility stakeholders of the capital.

In his capacity as President of the FIA and UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety, Jean Todt was invited to Madrid on 26 April for an audience with the King of Spain, Felipe VI.

Today, the United Nations Road Safety Trust Fund was officially launched at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) welcomes the establishment of this Fund which will help increase political support and funding for global road safety.
