One of the FIA's key objectives is to encourage the adoption of safety regulations for all forms of motor sports and series across the world. This section contains all the information concerning safety equipment in an easily downloadable format and is divided in two main areas:

The drivers section presents all the information related to the drivers’ safety equipment, such as the type of helmet, FHR, suit, etc. authorized in the FIA championships.

Competior Safety Equipment Guidelines The aim of these Guidelines is to complement the FIA safety regulations and to collect all the relevant regulatory information in one place, including the different Standards recognized by the FIA, the differences between them, the importance of safety equipment, the protection delivered, how to select, use and customize safety equipment, and how to avoid critical mistakes. It also gives tips on how to identify non-original products and what to do after an accident.
