The World Motor Sport Council, which met on 8 March in Geneva (CHE), adopted two technical proposals submitted by the FIA Off-Road Commission.

From 2014, the maximum engine cylinder capacity (corrected) for engines of cars in the TouringAutocross category will be limited to 3500 cm3.
Point 1.9 of Article 279A of Appendix J to the International Sporting Code will be amended in 2014, so as to specify that traction control is prohibited, as well as semi-automatic or automatic gearboxes with electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic control and differentials with electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic slip control.
