Rallye de France Alsace 2014 - Preview
Since 2005, France’s round of the Championship - whether hosted on the island of Corsica or in Alsace - has been dominated by French drivers and only Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier have won in the last eight years. Both have also secured world titles on their home event and this year Ogier will be focused on securing back-to-back titles in the Polo R WRC.
The impressive entry list, topping more than 90 cars, also includes competitors from all the support championships and with just three rounds remaining this season, all the contenders will be set on securing top points on the shortest event of the year.
As in previous years, Sport+ (Canal+ Group) will be broadcasting all the stages live in France while stages 7, 11 and 18 - the Power Stage - will be broadcast live on the world feed.

THE 2014 ROUTE
The 2014 Rallye de France Alsace route will be a mix of familiar and new for the contenders, with almost half the stage distance never previously used. There are four totally new stages; Pays Welche – Riquewihr and Mulhouse on Saturday, while Forêt de la Petite Pierre and Forêt de Saverne - which also runs as the closing Power Stage - make Sunday a completely fresh challenge. All other stages have modifications to previous years.
