On 17 December, the FIA General Assembly will elect its new President.

Under the FIA Statutes and Internal Regulations, all candidates for the position of President of the FIA shall, in their capacity as list leader, deposit with the FIA Administration a complete list showing the 10 names of the candidates for the positions of Deputy President for Automobile Mobility and Tourism, Deputy President for Sport and President of the Senate, together with the name of the candidates for Vice-Presidents for Sport (7).

Only lists having the support of 6 ACNs, 6 ASNs and 6 Mobility FIA Members shall be submitted to the General Assembly.

Two lists whose eligibility has been confirmed by the FIA Nominations Committee have been submitted to the FIA Administration, one from Mr Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the other from Mr Graham Stoker.
