As the participants pass through Europe and Asia on a 30,000 km adventure, their camper vans will display large scale versions of the FIA’s Golden Rules in a variety of languages including: Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Turkish allowing the universally important message of safer motoring to reach road users in ten countries.
Speaking to the teams at the launch of the Paris-Perking-Istanbul this weekend Jean Todt said:
" This year the Paris-Peking-Istanbul event will support a humanitarian mission focused on assisting Mongolian children run by the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation and will see participants deliver clothing and school supplies in Mongolia."
