Following its establishment at the 2018 FIA Annual General Assembly in St. Petersburg, the new FIA Drifting Commission met for the first time today (Tuesday 29th January 2019) at the FIA Headquarters in Paris.

The meeting was Chaired by FIA Drifting Commission President Mr. Akira Iida and his Deputy Ms. Eline Berke.

Commission members travelled from across the world to attend the opening meeting in their roles as representatives of their respective ASNs and major championships, with all united by their aim to further develop safe and sustainable drifting as part of the FIA family.
