Marciello reinstated as Norisring race 1 winner
13.07.13
After a thorough analysis of the footage, the Stewards have reversed their initial decision and cancelled the 20-second penalty for seven drivers. The new race winner is Raffaele Marciello
During the first race, twelve drivers were given a 20-second penalty after the finish for not respecting the yellow flags. After a thorough analysis of the footage, the Stewards of the Meeting saw that the yellow flags had not been displayed the whole time.
As a result the Stewards have reversed their initial decision and cancelled the 20-second penalty for seven drivers. The new race winner is Raffaele Marciello (Prema Powerteam). Alex Lynn (Prema Powerteam) is second and Félix Serallés (Fortec Motorsport) third.
