Guerrini and Prusak Claim Victory at the Oeiras Eco Rally – Portugal

The 2025 edition of the Oeiras Eco Rally – Portugal delivered thrilling competition as Guido Guerrini and Artur Prusak, driving a Kia E-Niro, emerged victorious in the third round of the season. The event, which counts towards both the Bridgestone FIA Eco Rally Cup and the PRIO Portuguese New Energy Championship, saw an intense battle for podium positions.
Joining Guerrini and Prusak on the overall podium were Carlos Silva and Sancho Ramalho in a BMW i3, who secured second place, while Pedro Morais and Silvia Coutinho, driving a Hyundai Ioniq 5, claimed third. This edition also marked the debut of a two-category system, with Eduardo Carpinteiro Albino and José Carlos Figueiredo winning the FIA Category 2 in their Kia EV3, and Ana Faria and Rita Nepomuceno taking victory in the FIA Energy Efficiency category with their Hyundai Kauai. Faria and Nepomuceno also earned recognition as the best female team in the event.

The action-packed weekend featured the highly anticipated Street Stage on Sunday, March 30, along the Marginal de Oeiras. Carlos Silva and Sancho Ramalho topped the stage results, followed by Michal Zdarsky and Jakub Nabelek from the Czech Republic, with Pedro Morais and Silvia Coutinho securing third place.

In the classification for the PRIO New Energies Portuguese Championship, the Regularity component was dominated by Eduardo Carpinteiro Albino and José Carlos Figueiredo, with Nuno Serrano and Ivo Tavares finishing second and the French duo Emilien Le Borgne and Romain Montembault rounding out the podium.

The team classification saw “Kia-ACP Electric - BP” take first place, followed by “Prolama Competição” in second and “Gass Racing - SRL” in third.

Fresh off their victory in Valencia, Spain, the San Marino-France pairing of Guerrini and Prusak strengthened their lead in the Bridgestone FIA Eco Rally Cup, solidifying their status as championship contenders.

This year’s edition of the Oeiras Eco Rally Portugal featured an innovative new format, beginning in Termas de Monfortinho (Idanha a Nova) and concluding in Oeiras, after passing through Vila Velha de Ródão, Mação, and Abrantes. The challenging course tested both drivers and navigators, ensuring a thrilling spectacle while also highlighting the importance of non-polluting mobility and environmental sustainability.

With the Portuguese round now concluded, the championship moves to Slovenia for the next event, with the MAHLE 8. Eco Rally, set to take place on April 11-12.
