Polesitter Frederik Vesti (Prema Powerteam) had a good initial getaway and managed to maintain his lead, while fellow front row starter David Schumacher (US Racing) lost out to Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema Powerteam).

Jake Hughes (KIC Motorsport) and Igor Fraga (DR Formula by RP Motorsport) followed the leaders in the early phase of the race.

Schumacher worked hard to recover lost ground and overtook Fittipaldi, who struggled to keep up with the pace of the leading drivers. The Brazilian eventually lost out also to Hughes and went on to finish fourth.

Vesti managed the gap over Schumacher thought the course of the race, maintaining a 2,4s gap over the German to claim yet another victory this season and move a step closer towards the title.
