David Schumacher took his second Formula Regional European Championship win in the second race at Barcelona. Starting form pole, the German took a lights to flag victory, with Enzo Fittipaldi following him closely for the whole duration of the race to eventually finish less than a second off the winner.

Unlike in race one, this time out the drivers competed on a dry surface.

It was Schumacher’s second win of the season, following his triumph at Vallelunga. Race one winner Fredrik Vesti rounded out the podium, despite having no answer for the pace of the leading deo. It was series’ newcomer Dan Ticktum who was initially running third, but he then lost out to Vesti first and then to Igor Fraga and eventually finished fifth.
