The Nations Cup Online Regional Finals are online events to determine the competitors who will qualify for the Nations Cup Online World Finals. Players will compete online across 3 Regions: Europe/Middle East/Africa, the Americas, and Asia-Oceania. All the actions from those races will be broadcasted on the official 'Gran Turismo TV' YouTube channel and 'Gran Turismo LIVE' as original programmes inclusive of commentary.

Furthermore, there will be an 'Extra Stage' event from 15 October to 25 October, to select the additional competitors that will qualify for the Nations Cup Online Regional Finals. This is a Time Trial event where competitors will race for an additional chance to earn a spot in the Nations Cup Online Regional Finals.

Competitors who record times fast enough to meet the selection criteria for this Extra Stage will be able to progress to the Nations Cup Online Regional Finals, which are due to be held in November.

However, competitors who have already earned a place in the Online Regional Finals through Stages 1-3 of the Nations Cup 2020 Online Series will not be eligible for this selection.

The race dates and the YouTube broadcast dates for the Nations Cup Online Regional Finals and Online World Finals will be announced once confirmed.
