In addition to playing host to the fifth round of the FIA European Hill Climb Championship, the Ecce Homo course also welcomed the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship. This was the third event, which saw the Czech Republic taking up the mantle from previous hosts Austria (Rechbergrennen) and Slovakia (Moris Cup, Jahodna).

The final two qualifying sessions ahead of the start of the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours on Saturday at 15h00 produced some improvements in the times but ultimately the provisional pole position times set in Q1 yesterday were the ones that counted towards the top spots on the grid. The weather even played its part today as the rain that was forecast failed to arrive.
