Plans for the 2020 FIA ETRC begin immediately with an imminent announcement regarding the new provisional calendar which will be issued very shortly.
Race 3
Adam Lacko claimed his third win of the 2019 FIA European Truck Racing Championship in race three at Circuito Jarama this afternoon.
The Buggyra Racing driver avenged the disappointment of losing the race two win yesterday which he had to relinquish after being penalised for early race contact with Rene Reinert.
Lacko led from pole position throughout the 12-lap race even though Jochen Hahn applied huge pressure throughout.
The Czech though was able to absorb the pressure and crossed the finishing line just 0.3s ahead of his rival Hahn.
Antonio Albacete sealed the final rung of the podium in his Truck Sport Lutz Bernau MAN as he came from fifth on the grid to overtake Norbert Kiss and Sascha Lenz.
The Spaniard capitalised after some contact between Kiss and Lenz at the start of the race but was able to ease his way passed his teams’ championship partner Lenz.
Albacete caught up to the battle for the lead between Lacko and Hahn in the final laps but had to settle for third but was cheered loudly by his thousands of fans in the busy spectator banks.

Race 4
A tense finale at Jarama played out to give an entertaining end to the 2019 FIA European Truck Racing Championship season today.
Front row starter Fabio Citignola was instantly deposed from his second position by Norbert Kiss as pole sitter Rene Reinert blasted in to an early lead.
This though lasted just a few metres as Reinert pulled off the track halfway around the first lap with an issue. The dejected German pitted but never returned to the action.
Kiss was now at the front but instantly came under pressure from Steffi Halm’s Team Schwabentruck IVECO entry. Soon though the Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz driver was able to stretch a small advantage over Halm.
It was a gap that he would stretch to the end of the 12-lap race as Halm was forced to look in her mirrors as third placed Jochen Hahn went on the attack.
Hahn eventually made a move stick at Turn 10 on lap 9 and the six-time champion made a late big to catch Kiss, but the Hungarian was by this time too far up the road and took the chequered flag by 4.4seconds.
Behind this battle came Antonio Albacete who cemented his vice-champions status as he took fourth place ahead of points rival Adam Lacko.
