Mohd Noor and Tjader quiz winners in Bahrain

Supported by the FIA Foundation, the exclusive Edukart programme introduced by the CIK-FIA within the context of the U18 World Championship and the Academy Trophy continued throughout the 2012 season. After the rounds in Braga and Angerville, it was in Bahrain that the contestants in the two competitions could again take part in a multiple-choice quiz, with questions on the technical and sporting regulations, the history of karting and the FIA, combating doping, road safety and so on.

Among the Drivers in the U18 category, only three gave correct answers to all 25 questions posed and they were classified by the time they took to complete the questionnaire. So the top step of the podium was occupied by the Malayan Syazwan Mohd Noor, ahead of local Ali Mohammed Al-Khalifa and the Swiss Severin Amweg. All three won financial bonuses.

With great consistency, five Drivers for the Academy Trophy had fault-free rounds, and again their positions were decided by their speed in answering. The Norwegian Otto Tjader took a podium place, along with the Frenchman Paolo Besancenez and the Slovenian Mitja Cebulj. Well done all of you!
