E1 cars welcomed in the European Hill Climb Championship in 2020!
Following the World Motor Sport Council’s recent decision to validate the technical regulations associated with the “Performance Factor” concept (link
), the range of cars accepted in Category 1 of the FIA European Hill Climb Championship will be significantly broadened as from 2020. In addition to the Group N, A, S20 and GT cars – which will have the choice of running either in their current configuration or in a modified version – a number of cars that are currently compliant with the provisions for Group “E1” cars may also be accepted. In order to be included in the appropriate class, the drivers of these cars must determine their Pf value via the online calculator (www.fiaperformancefactor.com) and declare it to the organisers when submitting their entry. Welcome to the “E1” cars! To be continued (1/4)
