Breaking news – Peterhansels win Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge

Stéphane Peterhansel and wife Andrea claimed victory on the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge today, winning the second round of the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies by eight minutes and 48 seconds.
After 1,284 kilometres and 18 hours of relentless desert competition, the MINI duo finished ahead of Khalid Al Qassimi who, with co-driver Xavier Panseri, upheld honours for the UAE with second overall in a Peugeot 3008 DKR while Poland’s Aron Domzala and Maciej Marton claimed a fine third in their Toyota Hilux Overdrive.
