One of motor sport’s most famous challenges awaits ABB FIA Formula E World Championship competitors this weekend – the legendary Circuit de Monaco – with the glamorous Principality also due to play host to the eagerly-anticipated public unveiling of the Gen3 single-seater at the Yacht Club on Thursday evening.

The Reial Automòbil Club de Catalunya (RACC), creator of CityTrips, and the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) have signed a collaboration agreement that will allow the CityTrips mobility platform to be used in several cities in Italy. The CityTrips mobile app includes the full range of public and shared transport options for getting around urban environments in a cleaner and more sustainable way. With the support of the FIA Innovation Fund, CityTrips aims to become a global MaaS solution, with the participation of FIA Clubs.

The Formula 1 Commission gathered today, 26 April, in London, for its second meeting of the year, following four hugely successful opening rounds across three continents. FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem chaired and opened the meeting, congratulating the Formula 1 community for the exciting start to the 2022 campaign.

In Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, Prema Racing’s Dino Beganovic claimed his first victory by winning the first round of the season under wet conditions. Then in the second race, it was Paul Aron who led every lap and won his first race of the season. In German Formula 4, two wins for Prema’s driver Antonelli at season-opener in Spa and the Rookie Camara claims his first win of the season in Race 3. In British Formula 4, Alex Dunne won the opening race season and the third one. Georgi Dimitrov holds firm in thrilling reverse grid contest.

The Fédération Internationale de I’Automobile (FIA) has just announced the list of the 25 Member Clubs that will benefit from fundings from the Global Action Stream of the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme in 2022. The grants will support selected Clubs in promoting the Global Plan for the Decade of Action (released by the WHO and UN Regional Offices at the end of 2021) and raising awareness on the UN high-level road safety meeting that will be held on 30 June and 1 July in NYC.
