Local rally heroes Miroslav Angelov and Georgi Gadzhev were the winner of the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven, the penultimate round of the Balkan Rally Trophy, ahead of their Rumanian rivals Dan Girtofan and Tudor Marza – both crews driving a Škoda Fabia R5. Another local pair, Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev, completed the podium with a Mitsubishi Evo 9.
