The eight-round Central series of the FIA European Trophy launched on Friday 29th of March with Valašská Rally Valmez in Czech Republic. Local rally hero Jan Kopecký and his co-driver Pavel Dresler dominated the event and claimed a resounding victory aboard their Škoda Fabia R5. Poland’s Grzegorz Grzyb and Jakub Wróbel took second place with the same machinery as the rally winners, while the Czech Jaroslav Orsák, navigated with style by his female co-driver Jindřiška Žáková, completed the podium with their Ford Fiesta R5.
