ANWB Medical Drones is an initiative created in collaboration with ÖAMTC and other FIA partners. Together with medical and technical collaborators, ANWB and OAMTC are researching how drones can contribute to delivering healthcare more efficiently. Research areas include exploring where drones can fly the fastest and shortest routes whilst transporting items such as blood, medication and diagnostic samples. By using drones, the Clubs aim to bring healthcare closer to patients and bridge distances healthcare institutions. (Test) flights start in 2024.​
